Skryne Vrs Senchelstown : Our u14 team were beaten in their second championship match on a score line of 5-12 to 5-4. They were beaten by a good seneschalstown team who outplayed us for periods of the game. We were always chasing the game but in fairness to the lads they never dropped their heads and kept going right til the bitter end. Best for the blues on the night were Tommy Kelly, Bryan Clarke, Shane Smyth, Colm Doherty and Craig Nolan.

Our u14’s got off to the best possible start to the championship with a mighty win against league champions Donaghmore-Ashbourne on a score line of 4-12 to 5-2.
We got off to a sublime start scoring 2-2 inside the first fifteen minutes only for Ashbourne to pull it back to 2 points by halftime.
Then we got a great team talk in and the lads got off to a flyer at the start of the second half and really put them to the sword leading by 13 points at one stage, but to Ashbourne’s credit and tiredness on our behalf they got a couple of quick goals near the end. But we held on for a brilliant 7 points win. We had a brilliant team performance from 1-24. Everyone stoodup and was counted and wore the skryne jersey with great pride. Well done lads we’re very proud of you.
