The Skryne Under 14B team beat Duleek/Bellewstown by 6-10 to 6-5 in a very entertaining game in Skryne last Saturday 24th March. A penalty save by Shane Dowling in the first half and some good saves by Michael Swan in the second ensured Skryne won the match. Skryne dominated possession but squandered many chances up front with poor handling and shot selection. The team worked hard in defence. This was Skryne’s hardest test so far in the B league as Duleek were very strong so it was an excellent result. An incident at the end by a Duleek player marred what was a very fast and fair game.
