Skryne had their last game in Summerhill League in Summerhill. Summerhill organised some great games against local clubs. The games were mostly played on a Tuesday night and were non competitive. The kids skills developed immensely.
The day before the All Ireland on the 22nd September, Summerhill had arranged two more matches. Our first game was against host club Summerhill. With 20mins a side and a panel of 21 we had some subs. Once the game got going we switched all players in and out of the game as there was two games to be played. The game against Summerhill was as good as any football you would see with some fast movement and passing from both sides. With a team when you are switching players in and out some times the team can loose its shape. The lads done exceptionally well and even after the game the Summerhill said that it was a great game of football played by both sides.
Our second game was against Ratoath. Skryne got off with a great start and scored some lovely good points and goals. Ratoath struggled to keep up with the lads with some great passing and shooting from all of the Skryne players. The defence line was very strong and nothing got by them. Once again we had plenty of subs and all the lads got plenty of football. Thanks to all the parents for the support and I am sure you
will agree that the lads are a very talented bunch of footballers. They all received medals at the end of the games. Also thanks to Noel

medals all those that played in the Summerhill league during the last few months.
