Skryne U16 girls have reached their divisional final after overcoming Donaghmore / Ashbourne in a thrilling semi final encounter. This game was played in the Donaghmore / Ashbourne home ground and many have described this encounter as the game of the year to date. The Donaghmore / Ashbourne side were hot favourites to win this one but the Taraside had different ideas. Skryne won the day on a scoreline, Skryne 0 – 11. Donaghmore / Ashbourne 1 – 6. Skryne are now pitched against near neighbours Dunshaughlin in the U16 final to be played in Walterstown on Wednesday 23rd May at 7. 45pm. The Ladies committee wish the team all the best in the final and urge as many people as possible to turn out and support the side.
