Skryne U15s qualify for Championship semi-final after completing group stage matches.
A Special Thank You to Easons Ireland for sponsoring the U15s team with there club tops.
The Skryne U15s lads are through to the semi-final of the Div3 U15 Championship, following the completion of the groups matches. Graded in Div3 along with Ballivor, Carnaross, Round Towers, Bective and Dunshaughlin the lads began their campaign back in the beginning of September with an impressive home victory against Round Towers. This was followed by an away game against Ballivor. Despite missing a couple of lads through injury, the team played really well and led for most of the match. Unfortunately, Ballivor were to equalise from a last-minute free kick. The 3rd game of the group saw the lads beaten at home by an impressive Carnaross side. Having built an early lead, the Carnaross lads defended really well in the 2nd half and the Skryne lads were unable to close the gap. The 4th match of the group was away to Bective who had been unbeaten in their earlier group matches. In a really tough match the Skryne lads put in a really brave effort to win by 1 point. The win came at a cost however with a couple of lads sustaining injuries that will see them miss the remainder of the games. The final group match was a home game against neighbours Dunshaughlin. With a home semi final place up for grabs the lads led from start to finish, scoring an impressive 5-10 to secure their place in the semi-final.
