2013 – Skryne U11 Report
The U11 Autumn League is co-ordinated and organised by Donaghmore Ashbourne GFC. The aim is to provide an U11 league for players who will be eligible to play in the U12 grade in 2014. Matches are run in accordance with the rules that apply in the County U12 competitions with goals and points counted as one score. This was the first time in a number of years that Skryne had participated. We had a panel of 24 players. Having lost to Donaghmore Ashbourne in Round 1, the lads went on to win eight of their remaining nine matches, to finish 2nd in the league to St.Patricks, Stamullen. Overall the level of performance was excellent from a very talented bunch of lads and we can certainly look forward to seeing the lads compete in 2014.
