The Skryne U10’s are entered into the community games on the 21st of April in Ashbourne. This will be a qualification process with a number of blitz matches to reach the finals in Athlone.
The U10’s have one team entered. With the cut off age in the community games different then that in Gaelic, a lot of the players will be 8 & 9 years of age. This will be a great day out for the young guns where they will be competing to progress further. The Community games are different from the Go Games – there are 15 players on the pitch and 5 additional players as subs. The subs will definitely be required to help strengthen the positions as the game progresses. This will be all new to the current players. The team will play 20mins per side.
