Skryne were very unlucky tonight to come out losers in a thrilling match against Summerhill in the U16 Spring League. It was nip and tuck right from the word go. Great team play, tenacious tackling and some fine scores to finish off moves were all qualities evident in the Skryne display. All credit to the Skryne lads. They gave a tremendous effort against a fine Summerhill team and lost by a solitary point on a scoreline of 2-15 to 3-11.
Best for the blues on the night were Luke Thorpe, Padraig Finnerty, Frankie Carty, Shane Dowling and Robbie Clarke.
