Skryne with first half wind advantage took early control of this game to lead the home team by 2-06 to 0-05 at half time.
Skryne got the better start in the second half with an early goal, and then seemed content to sit on their lead with only sporadic bursts up the field. This did yield another 2 goals and a number of points. Trim chipped away with points and finished the half strongly scoring 2 late goals to come within 2 points of Skryne at the finish.
Skryne could have been left regretting their second half complacency but for a number of goal line clearances from goalkeeper Dean Reddy & full back Barry Clarke, and some indecisive shooting from the Trim side when it seemed they had the goal at their mercy.
