Skryne Senior Ladies will return to training on Friday 27th January @ 7pm sharp – hopefully on the training pitch. If there is any change to this venue it will be notified by text. Mick Whelan takes on the Team Managers role again this year assisted by Declan Moore and Senan McGrath. Marie Cragie has volunteered her services as first aider to the team for the coming season. Mick will be hoping to build on the Shield Final win of last season and the younger players will have gained a lot of experience from last year’s campaign. Unfortunately the team will be without the services of a number of very experienced players this season owing to emigration. These include last year’s Captain Gillian O’Sullivan, Alisha Jordan, Laura Bowens and Mary Bennet. Skryne Ladies GFC would like to thank those players for their valuable contribution to the Club over the years and wish them all the best for the future. Hopefully their absence from Skryne will be short lived. On the plus side Annie Ryan has returned from her College studies abroad and so will be available to line out for the team this season.
