Congratulations to Norbart & Bridget Kieran Coyle who won the Mr & Mrs competition. They will be jetting of to France for a weekend for two with flights and accomadation. Compliments of Dempsey Travel.
There was a good turn out last night in Swans for the Mr & Mrs contest. We would like to thank those who turned up on the night and also who couldn’t make it but still purchased some tickets for the fund raiser for the under age of Skryne GAA. Without all your support the underage would not be as successful as it is to date. The money raised from the night will be put to good use. Also thanks to Swans who hosted the event and supplied some food at the interval which went down well with all. There was no shortage of couples to get involved and names came in thick and fast.
The MC was Ronald Duff who didn’t disappoint on the night. He had people in fits of laughter from when he put the mike in his hand and chose his questions very well for the contestants. Some of the questions he asked had people on the edge of their seat as they waited in anticipation for the answer to be given by the contestants. I hope the contestants that entered the Mr & Mrs contest last night were not sleeping in separate room’s. It was all taken in good fun. There were five questions asked ranging from the Kitchen to the Bed Room and some contestant’s only got one while a few couple’s got four and nobody thought that they would be beaten as it was a very good score. Norbat & Bridget Kieran Coyle were called up to the stage. They got through the questions in a cool and collective manner. They answered all five questions correctly and became the winners of the 2011 Mr & Mrs competition and are now planning their weekend in Paris with flights and accommodation paid for. This lovely prize was kindly sponsored by Dempsey Travel. So enjoy Norbat and Bridget and please take plenty of photos.
