Skryne Minors began their campaign in Div 2 with a comfortable win over the Castletown – Syddan combination namely Killary Emmets away at Syddan. Both sides could only manage 14 players so 13 aside was played. There were good displays from Timmy Lennon and Robbie Clarke in the full back line and Oisin Gryson at centre back. John Morley and Paddy Doherty at midfield gave our inside forwards a huge supply of good possession. Up front Sean Cassidy Jason Reddy Michael Doherty and the excellent Eoin Smyth combined well to give us a great start to the league.
