The first half was evenly matched, with both sides trading scores in a fast-paced contest. Ellie Murphy led the scoring early, registering three points including one from a free. Defensively, Hannah Dardis stood out with excellent catches and clearances, supported well by Ciara Cowley, Ailish Lennahan, Aisling O’Connor, Lizzy Moreland and Kate Gibbons in a disciplined back line. Colleen Jordan was immense between the posts, pulling off two game-changing saves—one a powerful close-range shot and another a low, driven effort that seemed destined for the net.

Keoghan added two more points in a commanding second-half display. Laura Mangan shone brightly, scoring a point and then struck a decisive goal to swing momentum firmly in Skryne’s favour. Fiona Mahon and Lizzy Moreland were ever-reliable, providing key support in transitions and pressuring St. Michael’s throughout.
