Seneschalstown were our hosts for the final Meath GAA Go-Games blitz of the year on Saturday 5th October. Throughout the year we have had a large enough squad to make two teams, with U8 Manager Aidan O’Connor taking one team and mentor Des Manning the other. The teams were picked on the day and over time all the kids got a chance to play on the same side. Positions were also changed throughout the games between forwards and backs.
For the final blitz the competition were Walterstown GFC, Gaeil Colmcille, and our hosts Seneschalstown. Skryne put on a huge effort in all of their games, finishing the season in style. Thanks to Seneschalstown for a very well organised day, and the kids were delighted with the crisps, buns and drinks that followed! Thanks also to all the parents for your continued support throughout the year.
The U8’s finish up for the year next Saturday 12th October with training in Skryne.
