Skryne Ladies  get off to a dream start with a goal from play by Laura Mangan, which was soon followed by a pointed free from Ellie Murphy. Dee Rangers went on the attack but hit 3 wides in succession. Ellie Murphy stepped up for Skryne with a great point from play at 8 minutes on the clock. Dee Rangers answered that with a point from a free. Amy O’Dowd was next to get herself on the score sheet with a point from a good play of possession. A minute later Skryne Ladies get a point from a free from Murphy who was putting them over with ease.

The tables began to turn when Dee Rangers hit 3 points unanswered in 5 minutes. It was back and forth then until Dee Rangers got another point from play. Skryne went back down the field only for it to fall wide. Dee Rangers finished the stronger side at the end of the half hitting 3 points to go into half-time 0-8 to 1-4 up.

Dee Rangers were straight on the ball from the throw-in but hit a wide followed by a point. Niamh O’Brien was up next to try to settle Skryne with a great point from play! It was 10 minutes before the side exchanged scores. In the 16th minute again both sides traded points, Dee Rangers from a free and Skryne from play from Catriona Keogan. Five minutes later Amy O’Dowd got another point from play to bridge the gap. This was followed by both sides being guilty of putting good chances wide. Dee Rangers then hit two more points, one from a free and one from play closing the gap each time. Skryne then got another point from a penalty. Dee Rangers closed out the game with two more points. Full time score: Dee Rangers  0-15(15)  Skryne Ladies  1-9(12)
