Joseph Fitzachary, a young man from St. Margarets in Co. Dublin was the lucky winner of our first prize of the John Deere 6120M tractor or €100,000. Joseph bought his ticket at Brady’s Service Station at Coolquay Lodge outside Ashbourne in Co. Meath. Johnny and Susan Brady allowed our Horsepower Committee to park our John Deere 6120M tractor in the forecourt of their Service Station and set up a stand to sell tickets. This proved a very fruitful outlet for sales as over 200 tickets were sold over the 3 weekends that we visited their premises. A big thank you to Johnny and Susan.
Upon receiving the phonecall from our MC Stephen Naughton informing him of his big win, Joseph accepted the invitation to come to Fox’s to accept his prize and duly hopped into his car and made his way from his home in St. Margarets in Co. Dublin to Fox’s in Skryne where Stephen Naughton caught up with him for a quick interview.
