Coiste Cultúrtha na Mí, Meath GAA held an ‘Oíche Chultúir’ in Swift Cultural Centre, Trim on Culture Night, Friday 20th of September, featuring special guest Matthew Gilsenan of the Celtic Tenors. Oíche iontach a bhí ann, celebrating Irish music, song, storytelling and dance and the diverse talents of our GAA clubs’ members.
Skryne GFC was well represented with Traidcheoil Tara performing beautiful renditions of ‘Rebecca’s Waltz’, ‘Waves of Kilkee’ agus ‘Rolling in the Rye’, under the steady guidance of Caroline Giles.
Some Skryne GFC members were also dancing with Carr Sheridan Academy.
Other Skryne GFC members worked hard behind the scenes to ensure the night was a success, including Joe O’Brien, Tara Hanlon, Laura Campion, Caren Smyth, Nicky Hamill, Stephen Naughton and Dermot Carty.
