Anyone witnessing on Sunday last how Skryne GFC coped with the very difficult task of managing a Senior championship game in Bohermeen, a Junior championship game in Ashbourn and two championship games in Skryne cannot but be impressed with how well the situation was handled with limited personnel. This is down to a very dedicated bunch of club members who readily give of their time to facilitate both the playing of our games and providing facilities for games to be played in Skryne.
One of the advantages of having important games in Skryne is that we get the chance to sell additional Blottos to the visiting fans. This is a vital source of income for our club which goes directly to improving and updating our facilities for the benefit of all our members especially our younger members.
We are asking as many members as possible, especially our underage divisions both boys and girls to help us out with this. Next Friday we have Navan O’Mahonies and Moynalvey playing in the Senior Football championship in Skryne at 7.00pm . We expect a large attendance and need your help to sell the blottos. This is a chance for you to help us out in a major way. Younger members will be assisted by adult members of the club. So come on up to the pitch at around 6.15 where we will supply you with envelopes and pens for the task.
Come on your club needs you and value any assistance you can give. Just make yourself known to any of the stewards and they will direct you where to go. Tell them Joe sent you.
