Seneschalstown were in fine form in Round 3 of the Under 14 Spring League on Saturday when they overpowered a spirited Skryne team. Seneschalstown were quick out of the blocks scoring a goal and 2 points inside the first 2 minutes of the game. Skryne notched up a couple of points before rattling the onion bag with a goal of their own. Skryne were well in contention at the midway stage of the first half. The score after 17 minutes of the game was Seneschalstown 2-04 Skryne 1-04. However that was as good as it got for Skryne as Seneschalstown hit a purple patch around the 20 minute mark and hit 3 goals and a point without reply. The half-time score was Seneschalstown 5-05 Skryne 1-04.
Seneschalstown started off the second half with 2 further points before Skryne grabbed a goal. Seneschalstown replied with another goal to seal Skryne’s fate. It was all one way traffic until the end of the game with Seneschalstown registering a further 6 points to Skryne’s 2 before the final whistle blew.
