Skryne U12’s played Dunshaughlin in a friendly in Dunshaughlin on Saturday 15th March. This was Skryne’s second challenge match and had a few players missing with the bank holiday weekend. Skryne were slow to get off the mark and with Dunshaughlin shooting and putting alot wide Skryne were lucky not to be behind by a few points at the early stages.
At half time there was only two points in the difference and with a tricky cross wind it was hard to score points for both sides. Things never went Skryne’s way. There were alot of young players within the Skryne U12’s who play with the U10’s and they all gave a great performance. John Finnertyy, James Dardis, Shane O Connor & Mark Swan were impressive. This was only a challenge game so the result didn’t matter but like any Skryne team the lads were not happy to lose.
We hope to see a full turn out for training during the week as the Spring League is kicking off the first week of April.
Final Score
Skryne….6 Points
Dunshaughlin……15 Points
