The Under 8’s took part in the third blitz of the season on Saturday 1st June in Summerhill. There was a reduced panel on account of the Bank Holiday Weekend, and the fact that the following week was mid-term break.
Very strong performances were shown by Skryne against Summerhill, Dunboyne and Walterstown, each child taking turns trying different positions between forward and defence. No scores are recorded at these games, at least not by the managers and officials. But of course the kids themselves do keep tally and they left Summerhill with smiles on their faces!
