Hard luck to the U16’s on Tuesday 14th in the Semi Final. A great performance by the lads and with Three players out injured they never gave up.
It’s a credit to the lads who went 0-3 to no score down at the start against a good Dunboyne side.
Some great scores by the lads with a goal also left Skryne 1-04 to 0-3 points up. A 2 min moment of laps of concentration saw Dunboyne score three goals.
Skryne never gave in and both sides went at each other in what can only be described as a high tempo game.
In the second half Skryne narrowed it down to Four points and gave it everything including the kitchen sink. The lads came up short and with missing three key players also it made it tougher.
Credit where credit is due to this bunch of U16’s who should be proud of there achievements in the Div 2 Spring League. Hard luck lads and management who put alot of time and effort in.
