Skryne 1 – 16
Dunderry 0 – 13
Skryne advanced to the next round of the Feis Cup at the expense of Dunderry on Friday evening. Despite a work-man like performance throughout, it wasn’t until Adam O’Sullivan’s 23rd minute goal that Skryne got a comfortable lead over their opponents. This left a six point margin between the teams which was also the margin at the end. The half time score was 1 – 10 to 0 – 6. However it was Dunderry who scored the next three points in the opening three minutes of the second half leave only four points of a difference. However Ian Davis, Aidan Tuite and Jamie Jordan negated these scores with three for Skryne to leave the score at 1 – 13 to 0 – 9 with 37 minutes gone. Dunderry posted a further four points in the game but it was not enough as Skryne had three more scores to finish the match with a comfortable lead of 6 points. The final result was Skryne 1 – 16; Dunderry 0 – 13.
