Thanks to all the parents who came out to see the kids receiving there medals for the Underage Presentation. This was a fantastic evening for the kids as some of the U6’s received there first Medal and were extra excited. It was great to see the smiles on the kids faces and the excitement was nearly too much for some. This is what Gaelic Football is all about and the enjoyment is key to having fun and games along with making new freinds.
A sincere thank you to all the parents for 2017 and also thos that served tea on the night on Sunday 14th.
Also thanks to Paddy O Rourke and Colm Doherty who presented the kids with there medals.
Paddy needs no introductory as he was the keeper for Meath in the 2017 campaign. Paddy has given years of service to Meath and has taken a break from County and we wish Paddy the best of luck for 2018 and on.
Colm Doherty won a Leinster Medal beating Dublin in an emphatic game in Drogheda. Its not often you get one up on the Dubs but this was one to cherish. 🙂
Thanks also to those who sold some Calendars of the Underage on the night and these can still be purchased in Swans or Tara Post Office.
Colm Played Midfield and we wish him the best for 2018.
2018 as we mentioned already is going to be a hectic year and one to look forward to.
The Best of luck to all the kids with the upcoming season.
