The Skryne U10 boys have entered into the Summerhill League. This league is based on Go Game rules and is non competitive – the kids are encouraged to go for points rather than goals. There are eight games in the league, the first will be against Trim tomorrow evening 2nd May. This will be a busy month with plenty of games and we are sure the kids will be delighted to hear about this. (Maybe parents will have a different opinion). With a bit of luck the April showers will soon be gone and the weather will start to improve. The eight opposing teams in the Summerhill League are as follow’s.
- Trim
- Na Fianna
- Summerhill
- Dunsany
- Ratoath
- Dunboyne
- Dunshaughlin
- Blackhall Gaels.
There are a lot of good teams in the league and there will be plenty of good football to be played. The final day is in Summerhill on 15th September with medals for all players who have taken part. The medals are given to all teams on the day as no score will be kept during these games.
Please see below for the May schedule. This includes blitz games as well as the Summerhill league.
- May 2nd against Trim. Summerhill League at 6.45pm (Away Game)
- May 12th in Dunsany. Blitz games. Time to be confirmed.
- May 15th against Summerhill. Summerhill League. (Home game)

- May 19th in Walterstown. Blitz games.
- May 22nd against Dunsany. Summerhill League. (Home Game)
- May 26th against Ashbourne. Challenge Game (Home Game)
These games may be subject to change due to weather conditions or games that may clash on the same day. As you can see there is plenty of football to be played.
Thanks to all for there continued support.
Cormac & David.
