Background Info
Skryne GFC have recently launched our 5 year plan to develop our club and improve the facilities at our grounds at Fr. McManus Park. Part of this plan is to build 2 new all-weather pitches. The cost of this project will be in the region of €170,000. The club was awarded a Sports Capital Grant of €100,000 towards the construction of these pitches, but we must raise the remaining €70,000 through fundraising. The construction of the all-weather facility has now been completed (Click here to view photos). The all-weather pitches will provide the people of Skryne with a fantastic amenity that can be enjoyed by all.
The Event
This year’s main fundraising event is Strictly Skryne, an event based on the hugely successful TV show Strictly Come Dancing. It is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 09th April 2016 in Tattersalls Country House, Fairyhouse, Co. Meath. The event is expected to sell out with 800 people due to attend. We will have 13 couples dancing, with each couple expected to sell tickets for the show, raise sponsorship and sell advertisements for our programme.
The Dancers
The following couples have generously donated their time and effort to be part of this year’s Strictly Skryne event. Please give them as much support and encouragement as possible. Contact one of the dancers if you wish to avail of advertisement opportunities for this event, if you wish to buy tickets or if you wish to give them some sponsorship. Tickets are €25 each.
