U6's last day of training 2011 get a surprised visit from Ciaran Lenihan present Skryne & Meath Player.

The U6’s training finished off on a high with a special appearance from Ciaran Lenihan who is the present Skryne & Meath senior player. There were training drill’s followed by a match where Ciaran watched the skills that the kids had developed throughout the year. At the end of the day the U6’s were presented with an O Neills first touch football Signed buy Ciaran and had there photo taken. When Johnny Quinn, Brian Smith, Andrew Murphy & Mick O Dowd started out the year some kids were not able to solo or kick a ball. The massive improvement in the year has been a credit to the manager & Mentors of the U6’s. The young players are now blocking kick passing and hand passing to each other now. There are a lot of young players who would like to follow in the footsteps of Ciaran Lenihan. It is also a credit to the parents who have brought the kids every Saturday to Skryne football pitch. There is a massive panel of 32 players at under 6 who all love to play and train whenever they can. You can see the smiles and how much enjoyment the kids get from playing Gaelic football. Skryne Underage would like to thank all the parents for their continued support. There is a special day in the Skryne pitch on Monday 31st that will allow the kids to be the first to access the changing room. This will be a historic moment for all Players who will be the first to see the new facilities. There will be refreshments on the day. Once again Thank You to the parents for their continued support throughout the year. Don’t forget to do the Skryne Blotto.
